Fees
Document fee: £85.00
Covers production of the full valuation report, including research, certification, and formatting.
Per item:
• Standard item: £65.00
• Exceptional item: from £90.00 (rare or complex pieces requiring extensive research, fee agreed with you in advance)
• Grouped items: £60.00 (for items individually insured under £1,000; maximum 5 items per group)
How fees work in practice
Say you’d like three items valued for insurance, an engagement ring, a gold bracelet, and a pair of earrings:
Document fee: £85.00
Engagement ring: £65.00
Gold bracelet: £65.00
Earrings: £65.00
Total: £280.00
If you have one or two lower-value pieces (each insured under £1,000), they may qualify as a Grouped item instead of being charged separately. For example, a chain and a pair of stud earrings valued together would be:
Document fee: £85.00
Grouped item (chain + earrings): £60.00
Total: £145.00
Every quote is confirmed in writing before any work begins, so there are no surprises
