At Jewels Appraisal, I take pride in my professional approach to jewellery and gemstone valuation. When you entrust your jewellery to a valuer, you deserve to know exactly who is handling it, their qualifications, experience, and approach.

There are no anonymous reports or faceless assessments. Every valuation is personally carried out by me, an accredited member of the Institute of Registered Valuers (IRV), with a commitment to integrity, accuracy, and impartiality.

As a fully independent valuer, I have no affiliation with retailers, insurers, or auction houses. My sole obligation is to provide you with an accurate, unbiased, and professionally prepared report. Nothing more, nothing less.

The Person Behind the Valuation

With over a decade of experience in the jewellery industry and extensive knowledge of jewellery manufacture, I specialise in coloured gemstones and diamonds, valuations, and bespoke jewellery, combining technical skill with a passion for craftsmanship. I am a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (GEM-A) and a Registered Valuer (IRV, NAJ).

Jewels Appraisal is an independent valuation practice based in the heart of Hatton Garden, London, the centre of the UK jewellery trade for over a century.

I hold membership with the Institute of Registered Valuers (IRV), the professional body that sets the standard for jewellery valuation practice in the UK. IRV membership is not automatic, it requires demonstrated competence, adherence to a professional code of conduct, and a commitment to ongoing development.

This means when you receive a Jewels Appraisal report, it carries genuine professional weight, whether presented to an insurer, submitted to HMRC for probate, or used in Family Court proceedings.
